Sead Kolasinac was nervous of Arsene Wenger when he first joined Arsenal
Sead Kolasinac was Arsenal’s first summer signing, joining on a free transfer from German side Schalke.
A relative unknown to many supporters, the 24-year-old has since become a fan-favourite at the Emirates for his tough displays.
However, the left-back has admitted when he first made the move to north London he was nervous to work with Arsene Wenger.
“It is really a lot of fun to work alongside a manager like Arsene Wenger,” the Bosnia and Herzegovina international said.

“He has been here ever since I can remember. At the start, maybe I was a bit nervous to work alongside him.”
But it has not taken him long to find his feet at the Emirates and Kolasinac has admitted Wenger has been a huge help to him.
“The fact that he speaks German really helps me – it made it a lot easier again for me to settle in here,” he added.
“He is good to work with.”

And Kolasinac has revealed the Arsenal players themselves have also helped him adjust quickly to life in the Premier League.
“The main reason is the way the team have welcomed me here,” he said.
“It helps you on the pitch when you know they have accepted you and accepted you in the way they have.
“That’s definitely been the main reason for it.”
