They will have to try and inflict United’s first loss of the season without Mane, who suffered a hamstring injury on international duty with Senegal last week.
Many ex-players have since claimed Liverpool’s chance of collecting three points have now diminished greatly due to the forward being out.
But Neville says they have plenty of players to fill the role of Mane and says United have their fair share of injuries too.

“This noise about Mane, Liverpool haven’t got a lot of injuries coming into this game,” he said on Sky Sports.
“They’ve got one player missing. They bought (Alex) Oxlade-Chamberlain for £40million, (James) Milner for £20million.
"You’ve got (Philippe) Coutinho to come in, (Georginio) Wijnaldum, (Emre) Can, (Daniel) Sturridge is still there.
“I don’t sort of see this as Liverpool being depleted.

“I think we shouldn’t get fooled by this noise around Mane in this last 24-48 hours.
“It’s one player missing. Manchester United have got one or two missing as well.”
United are without Marouane Fellaini, who also got injured in the international break, and Paul Pogba.
