Nadal and Federer continue to dominate tennis with both men enjoying a stellar year.
The Spaniard will end the year as world No1, having scooped the French Open and US Open titles.
Federer, however, continues to keep pace at the summit having won the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year.
Given Nadal trails Roger Federer by only three Grand Slams, you could forgive him for saying he wouldn’t take any of his rival’s best assets.
But the 31-year-old has admitted that he would love to have the serve of his long-term rival.

“The serve. I would pinch his serve, more than his elegance,” he said.
“He plays very aesthetically of course, but I have other assets.
“In a way, I'm probably more powerful, I can be a little more spectacular in the sense that I sometimes hit winners in positions more difficult than him.
“But of course, he is super-elegant, I’ve never seen anyone play tennis as elegantly as he does.”
Rafael Nadal wishes he had the serve of Roger Federer
Meanwhile, Federer has wished old foe Nadal well after the Spaniard was forced to withdraw from the ATP World Tour Finals in London due to injury.
“Of course it is a pity not seeing Rafa around anymore,” he said.
“We all hope he recovers quickly and well from that and comes back strong next year.”
Nadal continues to be plagued by injuries and will be hoping to be fit by the time the Australian Open starts in January.
