Fear the Walking Dead: The series is a prequel to zombie thriller The Walking Dead
When does Fear the Walking Dead season 4 start?
Luckily for fans of the zombie thriller, The Walking Dead prequel was recommissioned for fourth season before its third had even aired.
AMC, which airs Fear the Walking Dead in the US, has not announced a release date – however the series has traditionally aired in the summer as a lead-in to its parent series.
Our best guess is that season four will air around June 2018.

What will happen in Fear the Walking Dead season 4?
The season three finale left many loose ends untied.
Madison washed up ashore after the flood, but Alicia and Strand remained missing.
Nick blew up the dam, but neither he nor Daniel was seen again.
Co-creator Dave Erickson has said that the open-ended finish was due to behind-the-scenes changes.
He is leaving the show ahead of season four, with new showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg coming in to replace him.
Erickson told Entertainment Weekly: “The goal for me was to wrap things up for the emotional and dramatic standpoints.
“We’ve been exploring violence, and morality obviously throughout the season, and I wanted to bring those things full circle.
“I think that there was a version of this where if I was going to stay on it might have been a little bit more clearly defined in terms of who survived exactly.
“But being not entirely certain what the intentions were going to be, we chose to leave it a little more open-ended.”

Fear the Walking Dead: Madison is the only character confirmed alive
Fear the Walking Dead: Proctor John will be the series new villain
As for now, Madison is the only main character confirmed alive.
Whoever else makes it to season four will find themselves battling a new villain, Proctor John, who made his long-awaited debut in the finale.
One thing that has been confirmed for next year is that Fear the Walking Dead will crossover with The Walking Dead.
Robert Kirkman, who created the comic books both series are based on, announced earlier this month: ,“So what I’m going to say, and this is all I’m going to say, is that there are two Walking Dead shows.
Fear the Walking Dead: Strand was nowhere to be found at the end of the finale
“I’m not going to name them. But there are two. There’s one character that is going to go from one show that I will not name and appear in the other show, which I will not name.”
Many are convinced that Abraham Ford, who was killed by Negan in The Walking Dead’s season seven premiere, will be the character to make the jump between shows.
Proctor John has already said that he is going to go to “what’s left of Houston”, Abraham’s home state.
Michael Cudlitz, who played former sergeant, stoked speculation further when he tweeted: “Crazy shit is about to go down. See y’all on the other side.”
